$100,000 In prize awarded annually

Poetry.com will award over 1,200 awards and prizes, totaling over $100,000, to amateur poets in the coming months. All contestants are eligible for both of our contests: The International Open Amateur Poetry Contest, judged by our Editors, and the Poets Choice – Rate My Poem Contest, voted on by poets worldwide. Type your poem below and then click submit!

Anyone can enter the competition simply by submitting an original poem, 24 lines or fewer with a maximum of 65 characters per line, on any subject and in any style. If your poem makes it to the semi-finals, you will receive an acknowledgment by regular mail within seven weeks.
